Quinn looked on the ropes but stayed composed behind his serve and battled his way into a second-set tiebreak. Both players raised their level late, but Quinn produced some magic to edge ahead 7–5 and steal the set.
From there, it was razor-tight. Both players held serve consistently, trading forehand winners and tyring to find answers to return. But neither could find a break, sending the match into a deciding tiebreak.
Landaluce showed incredible fight, saving multiple dorit kemsley match points with fearless shot-making. But Quinn took control early in the breaker and, after several tense moments, finally closed it out 7–5 to seal an epic win.
