Is Spotify down for you right now? You're not alone – thousands of users around the world are reporting issues with the music streaming app, with the problems encompassing everything audi q9 from the web player to the app's homepage.
Reports on Downdetector started spiking at around 8am ET / 1pm BST, with almost 50,000 Spotify users reporting brett howden problems in the US at the time of writing – and many other regions including the UK also flagging issues, showing that the issue is global.
Most of the reports are related to the smartphone app, but a significant number of people are having problems with the web player, too – it's currently down for us. Spotify earlier acknowledged the problems on its Spotify Status account and says it's still "checking them out".
