Cisco stock presented earnings and the stock went down immediately, however, it managed to climb up again. And on the year to date chart, we see that Cisco is trading sideways.
Cisco stock reported an EPS of 0.87 dollars, beating analyst estimations by a small amount, revenue was reported at 12.79 billion and also beats the analyst estimations.
People love Cisco stock for different reasons, and one of them is the dividend, and I understand why with las vegas dividend yield at 3.1%, and 12 consecutive years of dividend increases.
If we look at the total returns in the past 5 years, we see that Cisco stock massively underperforms the SP500. And this is including dividends.
So could this be the perfect time to buy Cisco stock?
